    Job Summary:

    This position assures quality in the final products and assists teams establish processes for finding any flaws before final release. This position also works to assist the teams

    across the organization establish standards in various quality related initiatives.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    Responsible for project quality- related activities necessary to ensure both customer satisfaction and project objectives are met.

    Support recurring cross functional meetings and hold stakeholders accountable for meeting program deliverables.

    Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

    Review and approve all Quality planning documentation.

    Perform audits and assessments in order to:

    a) assess the existing capability and process compliance,

    b) confirm integrity of overall systems and processes requirements,

    c) assess readiness for release / launch including safe launch activities

    Responsible for approving parts and assemblies produced by Animax internal shop and 3rd party vendors for use.

    Responsible for developing documented processes for approving parts, assemblies, and final product and for maintaining documented records of those processes

    Actively participate in development and quality reviews, including feedback from customer / system testing teams, to develop and drive quality improvement roadmaps.

    Actively participate in project team meetings and work closely with project manager.

    Take initiative to identify, design, implement and administer processes or process improvements in order to improve the consistency of Quality activities internally, meeting customer requirements.

    Closely monitor and review the project deliverables for conformity to project scope, adherence to customer specifications and other regulations.

    Understand and maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

    Anticipate potential problems, plan appropriate resolutions, and take early corrective action before problems happen.

    Conduct or Facilitate Training programs on Quality Standards / Processes / Process Improvements.

    Communicate Quality issues to responsible stakeholders to maintain customer quality requirements.

    Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to the Production Manager, COO, or CEO.

    Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.

    Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

    Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Lead root cause investigation and corrective action implementation when necessary.

    Administer and oversee company Quality Assurance Program (QAP). Ensure QAP consistently meets or exceeds customer requirements.

    Develop and oversee processes to ensure, where required, full identification and traceability of materials and product back to inspection and test records.

    Develop and execute processes for calibration and control of company-furnished inspection equipment.

    Develop client-facing documentation to ensure proper use and maintenance of delivered product (procedures, forms, work instructions up to an including Operations and Maintenance manuals).

    Supervisory duties – EHS, Documentation (O&M)

    Required Education and Experience:

    5+ years of prior job-related experience in a Quality Assurance position

    College or Technical training

    Preferred Skills and Abilities:

    Six Sigma

    Familiarity with ANSI drawing standards, ability to understand engineering drawings and 3D models

    Prior experience in project-based fabrication and assembly operations

    Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal

    Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

    Physical Requirements/Environment:

    Primary work is in a factory environment and may involves exposure to unusual elements, such as fumes, odors, and/or loud noises

    Secondary work environment may be active construction site and/or warehouse/shop and involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following safety precautions.

    Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises

    Ability to sit for prolonged periods of times

    Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 50lbs

    Travel up to 25% may be required
