We are currently looking for a great candidate to join our team as a Human Resource Supervisor.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Human Resources Supervisor develops and administers human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, benefits, immigration, employee relations, training, and health and safety. Ensures human resources strategies align with organizational business goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintains and updates job requirements through job descriptions for exempt & non-exempt positions.
- Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; sets up all testing and background checks required by the organization and or position being filled.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs. Creates and updates personnel files to meet Federal, State or local regulatory agency compliance.
- Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Enrolls employees in group benefits programs, inform and educate employees on benefits and assists them with inquiries or issues. Reconcile benefit plan monthly billing for employee additions and/or deletions, ensures medical deductions are set up in payroll.
- Maintains guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Respond to all employee correspondence or phone inquiries such as; unemployment agency, child support, Payroll records or employment verification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- 4 Year Degree in HR or related field and SHRM Certification.
- Knowledge in Wage Structure, Classifying Employees, Employment Law, Laws Against Sexual Harassment, Organization.
- Knowledge in Hiring, Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, and Compensation.
