    Job Description

    If so, you are in the right place! We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer you will ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability for IT and non-IT departments as well as for production and non-production environments.

    This position requires someone who is experienced in maximizing our security strategies and is able to come up with unique solutions that meet our company’s standards. They will work in a highly collaborative and agile environment with cross-functional team members to develop products and create technical solutions that push us forward. This person will help improve our internal processes to deliver a valuable product to our customers.

    The Security Engineer will report directly to the Infrastructure Team Lead and work together with the rest of management team and employees. They will be responsible for contributing to the product and company security at Tipico USA. The position holder ensures this is done by doing the following: 

    • Operation and management of the ISMS documentation
    • Act as an escalation point for internal compliance, risk management and auditing teams
    • Enact government-approved security policies, plans and procedures according to ISO27001
    • Participate in internal security and risk committees
    • Proactively focus on alternative security solutions and find where security requirements are unable to be met – we want our product smarter, simpler and safer
    • Advise the appropriateness of security measures to mitigate risk and reduce risk exposure
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • Security certifications (CISSP, ISO Auditor)
    • An expert level knowledge of IT security & project management
    • A strong understanding of ISO-27000 based on security program functional areas and other commonly accepted standards
    • Knowledge of infrastructure, key processes and technology-oriented risk issues (specifically around security and privacy)
    • A deep understanding of policy, compliance and best practice security principles is needed
    • Ability to be the key driver, enabler and motivator for the involved business and IT partners
    • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Knowledge about and / or experience with sports betting  
    • Online gaming and gambling experience

    Potential salary range for this role is: $85,000-$105,000
