The Ann Arbor Pharmacometrics Group Inc. is a functional service provider specializing in model-based drug development consulting for the pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 2007 by three former Pfizer employees, A2PG works to promote leveraging information across statistics as well as clinical and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic disciplines through the application of models and clinical trial simulation techniques in order to enhance drug development strategies and decision-making. To date, A2PG has worked with over sixty pharmaceutical and drug development companies.
A2PG is now seeking a postdoctoral scientist with a background or interest in applied mathematics, biology, pharmacology, biotech, or medicine to join our team.
Position Overview:
A2PG postdoctoral scientists will learn to plan and conduct population analyses and simulations, serve and gain experience as an external consultant, and may function as a member of the clients’ modeling and simulation team to determine strategies for model-based drug development.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conduct population modeling analyses and present updates (PowerPoint presentations) to clients on a regular basis.
- Comply with 21CFR11 regulations to maintain an audit trail of all reported results.
- Prepare reports of modeling simulation results.
- Provide general consulting and training for client’s modeling and simulation staff as requested.
- Participate with client in publication of modeling and simulation results including presentations at professional meetings and preparation of manuscripts for journal submissions.
- Conduct original research of novel methodologies for pharmacometric applications and present findings at professional meetings and/or for journal publication.
Qualifications:
- PharmD or PhD degree in statistics preferred.
- Programming experience with Base SAS software or R software is desirable.
- Experience in application of time-to-event analyses preferred.
- Strong data management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.

Compensation:
- Commensurate with credentials. $70,000.00 to $90,000.00
- Eligible for bonus considerations.
