The Ann Arbor Pharmacometrics Group Inc. is a functional service provider specializing in model-based drug development consulting for the pharmaceutical industry.
Founded in 2007 by three former Pfizer employees, A2PG works to promote leveraging information across statistics as well as clinical and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic disciplines through the application of models and clinical trial simulation techniques in order to enhance drug development strategies and decision-making. To date, A2PG has worked with over sixty pharmaceutical and drug development companies.
A2PG is now seeking a data analyst with a background or interest in applied mathematics, biology, pharmacology, biotechnology, or medicine to join our team.
Position Overview:
- A2PG data analysts work with pharmacometricians to analyze pre-clinical and clinical data for exploratory analysis, modeling, and simulation for our clients’ drug development programs.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Create analysis-ready datasets for use in modeling and simulation.
- Prepare tabular and graphical data summaries.
- Observe and interpret data trends and analyze data using statistical methods.
- Assist pharmacometricians in model development and performing model-based simulations.
- Comply with 21CFR11 regulations to maintain an audit trail of all reported results.
- Maintain working knowledge of regulatory agency guidelines and requirements.
- Support activities for the quality control (QC) of results against original source documents.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in quantitative sciences, biostatistics, statistics, engineering, or data science.
- Programming experience with Base SAS software or R software is desirable.
- Experience in application of time-to-event (survival) analyses a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong data management, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.

Compensation:
· Commensurate with credentials. $50,000.00 to $70,000.00
· Eligible for bonus considerations.
