The right candidate will be friendly and outgoing, able to engage with customers to promote our products, answer questions, and offer styling suggestions. This position requires not only motivation to make sales, but also physical strength. This position involves moving folding tables and other equipment required for events. Event hours are usually 8-9 hours/day so this position typically takes up an entire day and is outdoors (events are cancelled if there is poor weather). Must have a reliable car. Pop Up Market Execution Setting up/tearing down of pop up events Educating customers about products Providing astounding customer service and build rapport with customers Creating a shopping experience that makes the customer feel welcome and comfortable Loss prevention Processing payments using Shopify Tracking sales and inventory issues Communicating product needs and feedback with manager Hitting sales goals Handling jewelry to and from events as needed Experience/Skills: 1+ years sales experience (retail sales preferred). An eye for merchandising. Jewelry and gemstone knowledge a plus! Cash handling experience. Extreme attention to detail and record keeping. Easygoing, positive attitude, honest, and trustworthy! Self starter, organized, and a great communicator. Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Must have own car and proof of insurance Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time (chair provided as well). Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Must have weekend and holiday availability Some college preferred. Compensation: Based on experience. Good hourly wage plus bonus structure for meeting sales goals.
