Busy acupuncture office specializing in women's health and fertility hiring a part-time Front Desk Receptionist responsible for all daily operations in a tranquil but fast-paced setting. The receptionist reports to the office manager and owner and wears many hats. We are looking to hire for 2 to 2.5 days a week: Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM- 6:15 PM with a 60-minute paid lunch break from 1:30-2:30 PM, plus another half day during the week. Responsibilities: As the Front Desk Receptionist, your role is vital serving as the first and last point of contact with our patients and ensuring the flow of patient getting care and practitioner giving care is excellent. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the clinic owner to facilitate smooth clinic operations with our patients and staff. • Manage our online booking and charting system. Must be comfortable with technology. • Welcome patients and fellow employees, answer phone calls and emails, accurately calculate and collect payments, and assist us with other operations as needed. • Answer patient questions and book appointments. • Set up and prep office and treatment rooms and refill supplies in the morning and tear them down after the last patients. • Phone & email correspondence, scheduling appointments, generating receipts and charts, checking patients in and out, data entry, and • Support practitioners in delivering treatment to the patients including updating patient files, and refreshing treatment rooms. • Record patient visits and payments electronically. • Coordinate practitioner schedules. • Spot clean the bathroom and the back office sink area daily. (Cleaners come weekly for more thorough cleaning) • Water plants twice a week, and more as needed on hot days. Qualifications: Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic computer skills Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred Compensation: $20 hourly
