Our offerings include exclusive plant introductions, California natives, cottage garden heirlooms, and Mediterranean climate varieties from around the world. The majority of our plants are grown from seed without the use of growth hormones, systemic pesticides or neonicotinoids. Our on-site R&D facility and 3.5-acre nursery are a botanical and pollinator wonderland! DATA ENTRY CLERK: THIS IS A WONDERFUL INTRODUCTORY OPPORTUNITY FOR AN ORGANIZED PLANT ENTHUSIAST!  This Data Entry position will be logging plant dumps, cuttings, and seed information. You will report to our Research & Development Lead and will be working primarily indoors. Your responsibilities will cover the following supervised tasks:

·         Obtain tags of overgrown/culled plants from the propagation area of the nursery.

·         Scan plant tags into our POS System.

·         Create spreadsheets of overages.

·         Receive cuttings list from propagation managers to create a detailed list of plants.

·         Prepare tag information to be printed for plants to be transplanted.

·         Log seeds, cuttings, overgrown and culled plant lists into the plant schedule via Microsoft Excel.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Data entry experience is required.
• Must be able to listen and take direction well.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must have strong organization and time-management skills.
• Must be competent in Excel.

Salary:  This is a part-time, hourly position.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
