PPS is seeking an experienced Anodizing Production Manager for our new aluminum extrusion facility in Phoenix. The Anodizing Manager responsibility to safely lead and manage all operational aspects of the facility for the anodizing department, coordinating with Management on daily requirements and establishing plans to accommodate those goals with their production team.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily finishing production on a daily basis, ensuring work is conducted safely, on time, and on budget.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for finishing operations to ensure that productivity, efficiency, and quality are monitored for performance and that action is taken if corrective action is needed.
- Ensure that all company quality processes and procedures and executed properly.
- Monitor environmental health and safety (EHS) processes and procedures and take corrective action to ensure the safety of all plant personnel, customers, vendors, contractors and other facility visitors.
- Establish priorities and initiatives with the maintenance department for equipment availability (maximize up-time).
- Assist with appropriate production scheduling and availability of resources to meet customer requirements at lowest cost.
- Work with management to design and implement strategies for operational improvement.
- Actively stay up to date with the latest production and maintenance technologies to assist in the advancement of company capabilities.
- Work with the executive and sales teams to proactively prepare operations for growth – provide depth, insight, and commitment to communicate and coordinate plans through the efforts of finishing operations.
- Actively drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing/plant environment required.
- Preferred – experience with aluminum extrusions and finishing processes.
- Experience in successfully developing strong teams and strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
- Experience in managing safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Experience and training in Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
- Proven ability to Lead, to Collaborate and to Execute.
- A strong, open, honest, approachable team builder who possesses outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills and who can accommodate, facilitate, and drive growth within the organization.
- A hands-on Manager with experience running highly automated systems.
