Billing and Credentialing Analyst (Part-Time)

Job Description:

Position Type:

Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing billing processes for accurate and timely invoicing
• Support the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers
• Collaborate with insurance companies for claims submissions and follow-ups
• Maintain up-to-date records of billing codes, fee schedules, and provider credentials
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local billing and credentialing regulations
• Work closely with the finance and healthcare teams to identify and resolve billing discrepancies
• Generate monthly reports to provide insights into billing and credentialing activities

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare billing and credentialing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with billing software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
