    ANTHURIUM IS A BOUTIQUE, WOMEN-OWNED STAFFING FIRM SPECIALIZING IN STAFFING PERSONAL ASSISTANTS. OPERATED BY A TEAM OF FORMER PA'S, WE OFFER A FULL SERVICE EXPERIENCE TO BOTH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS BY MEANS OF CONSIDERATE PLACEMENT, MENTORSHIP, AND TOP-TIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT. WITH THOUGHTFULNESS AND CARE, WE DEVELOP MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS TO ENSURE THAT BOTH ARE EMPOWERED, MAKING ANTHURIUM AN EXCITING PLACE TO WORK. 

     

    WE ARE LOOKING TO STAFF A PART TIME (20 HOURS/WEEK) ESTATE MANAGER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT A COUPLE BASED IN MIDDLETOWN, NJ AND DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN. CLIENTS ARE SEEKING AN ENTREPRENEURIAL  SELF-STARTER WITH A “NO JOB TOO BIG OR SMALL” ATTITUDE. THIS ROLE OFFERS A LOT OF  VARIETY AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ON A BEAUTIFUL ESTATE FEATURING A VINEYARD AND AN ORCHARD. 

     

    THIS POSITION REQUIRES BEING ONSITE AT THE MIDDLETOWN NJ ESTATE 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK, AND IN DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN 1 DAY PER WEEK (TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT PROVIDED) TO HELP WITH PROJECTS AT THE NYC APARTMENT. THE CLIENT THEREFORE REQUESTS APPLICANTS WITH A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE VEHICLE WHO LIVE WITHIN 30-45 MINUTES OF RED BANK/MIDDLETOWN, NEW JERSEY. COMPENSATION FOR THIS POSITION IS $36/HOUR AND PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WHO ARE AVAILABLE TO START ON OR BEFORE MARCH 18TH. 

     

    PERSONAL ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

    • SUPPORTING CLIENTS DIRECTLY AS THE GO-TO PERSON FOR ALL NEEDS, INCLUDING DAILY ADMINISTRATION, CALENDAR MANAGEMENT, TRAVEL BOOKING, PROJECT COORDINATION, CORRESPONDENCE, ETC.

    • KEEPING ORGANIZED DIGITAL RECORDS OF VENDOR BILLS AND PAYMENTS

    • COORDINATE PROJECTS OR EVENTS BY CAPTURING TIMELINES, STRATEGIES, AND DELIVERING PROGRESS UPDATES

    • ACT AS A SPOKESPERSON FOR THE CLIENTS ON ALL MATTERS, SOMETIMES MAKING ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS AND TAKE ACTION IN THE CLIENT’S ABSENCE

    • PERFORMING MISCELLANEOUS TASKS SUCH AS MANAGING INGOING/OUTGOING MAIL & RETURNS, RUNNING ERRANDS, DECORATING THE APARTMENT, ETC.

     

    ESTATE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • PROACTIVELY MANAGING RECURRING MAINTENANCE (SMOKE DETECTORS, SEPTIC TANKS, SPRINKLER WINTERIZATION, CHIMNEY CLEANING, ETC.) AND KEEPING DIGITAL RECORDS IN GOOGLE SHEETS.

    • WEEKLY SURVEYING OF BOTH HOMES TO LOOK FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY BE BROKEN (HEATING, COOLING, DEAD LIGHT BULBS, NOISY WATER HEATER, ETC); DIRECTING HOUSEKEEPING STAFF OR ON-SITE MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL TO COMPLETE MAINTENANCE, OR HIRING AND NEGOTIATING WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS TO DO SO. 

    • COMPLETING SIMPLE HOMEOWNER TASKS, SUCH AS CHANGING LIGHT BULBS AND WATERING INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PLANTS.

    • SCHEDULING AND MEETING  VENDORS ON SITE REGULARLY AND OVERSEEING THEIR WORK. 

    • KEEPING THE POOL AREA AND POOL HOUSE STOCKED AND ORGANIZED.

    • ASSISTING PROPERTY CARETAKER WITH VINEYARD RESPONSIBILITIES SUCH AS SELLING GRAPES TO LOCAL WINEMAKERS

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BACHELOR’S DEGREE

    • EXTREMELY ORGANIZED WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL

    • HIGHLY EFFECTIVE VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    • COMFORTABILITY WORKING OUTDOORS WHEN NEEDED

    • VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE VEHICLE

    • TEAM PLAYER WILLING TO WEAR MANY HATS

    • ABILITY TO BE ON-SITE IN MIDDLETOWN/RED BANK NEW JERSEY 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK, AND IN DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN 1 DAY PER WEEK

    • CLIENT REQUESTS SOMEONE WHO IS FULLY VACCINATED AND BOOSTED
