Job Description: Antitrust Litigation and/or Merger Control Associate
Location: Century City, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a talented Antitrust Associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control to join its thriving Antitrust practice in California. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters for leading global businesses across high-stakes regulatory and litigation environments.

Practice Focus:
The firm’s Global Antitrust and Competition team handles complex antitrust matters, including:

• Civil and criminal antitrust litigation

• Merger review and clearance

• Government investigations and enforcement actions

• Pre-merger notification under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act (HSR)

• Strategic antitrust counseling across industries

As part of this elite team, you will collaborate with top-tier lawyers across the firm’s global platform while receiving support, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control

• Deep understanding of antitrust principles, including relevant statutes, case law, and regulatory frameworks

• Exceptional legal writing and research skills

• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school

• Admission to the California Bar, or eligibility to practice under California rules

Compensation:
Base salary will be commensurate with experience and location, with a competitive range consistent with Amlaw 100 market standards.
