Ensure the cleanliness of the hotel hallways, furniture, fixtures, carpets, windows and glass etc. as per company standard
Ensure correct flow of all hotel garbage and waste following appropriate disposal procedures
Move and lift beds, furniture, fixtures and fittings etc. as required
Attend to spring cleaning from time to time according to the schedule to ensure all areas are maintained to very high standards.
Complete all daily work sheets accurately & in a timely manner
To be responsible for filling cleaning materials from the pantry & keep cleaning bucket fully stocked before service.
To be vigilant and security conscious.
To report maintenance faults in hotel areas and hallways & ensure they are attended to without delay. Report to Supervisor any defect not rectified well & on time.
To have good knowledge of all equipment & chemicals used in cleaning
Report on lost & found items found
Be cautious about usage of chemicals to avoid damages to self & use them sparingly to minimize expenses, observe occupational health and safety regulations.
To be able to maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
Perform duties as instructed by housekeeping management
