This exciting Internship/Co-op position will be located at the Second Narrows Water Supply Tunnel project. This is new water supply tunnel under the Burrard Inlet, one of five new water supply tunnel crossings in the region. The tunnel will increase the capacity of the existing system. The structure will be approximately five meters in diameter and 1.1 kilometers in length.
This internship provides a variety of hands on experience and training needed to become an effective, well-rounded Civil Construction Engineer by exposure to both technical and office duties.
Typical responsibilities require applying critical engineering and management thinking which includes: estimating, design, scheduling, compliance review, procurement, surveying, production tracking, change order preparation, material testing and analysis, and cost report management. We are seeking professionals who are committed to safety, quality, and productivity.

Our robust Internship and Co-op Program offers eligible university students the exciting opportunity to alternate sessions of work and school, with the added benefit of graduating with relevant work experience. This is a full-time internship requiring 40+ hours per week. The internship will take place approximately MAY 2021- AUG 2021, BUT WE CAN BE FLEXIBLE ON START/END DATES.

Operating a stand-up forklift truck to pick and package all customer orders consistent with company standards
Receiving and putting away all incoming material
Loading all outgoing material and unloading all incoming material
Package UPS shipments
Clean designated areas of warehouse as needed
Label material according to customer specifications
Move material to new locations as needed
Must follow all safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
All other duties/tasks as assigned
