    About the Role

    As an Energy Storage Engineer, you’ll oversee technical diligence on battery energy storage system products. Your primary role involves serving as the main technical liaison with vendors, coordinating solutions engineering, and offering expert advice based on your profound product and systems integration knowledge.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Collaborate with strategic sourcing to drive product diligence in line with quarterly goals.
    • Leverage and enhance Anza’s Product360 diligence system (P360).
    • Extract, review, organize, and maintain vendor documentation with precision in P360.
    • Develop systems for visualization, analysis, and comparison of products and vendors.
    • Utilize ETAP and PSSE for analyzing product-related studies.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
    • 3-5 years of related experience in battery energy storage product design, product diligence, and/or integration at grid scale
    • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (UL, NEC, NFPA, etc.).
    • Proficient in load calculations, short-circuit, and coordination studies as well as ETAP, Python, Excel (or similar packages) for executing complex tasks.
