    About the Role

    The Solutions Engineer will serve as the primary technical voice for energy storage in sales, deploying their deep understanding of products and system optimization to identify opportunities for value creation. You’ll need both technical expertise and humility, possess a strong ability to solve problems, and be able to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms.

    You will be the foremost expert in using the Anza platform and represent the voice of the customer in product roadmap discussions. You will actively support the continual advancement of the Anza optimization engine, bringing subject matter expertise to our tech team.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Present tradeoffs between system designs simply and effectively
    • Develop tools that present value engineered product solutions
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain accurate and competitive cost models for present and future
    • Providing feedback to vendors through the development of meaningful metrics derived from the Anza platform and Customer interactions
    • Support the evaluation of equipment and develop product installation cost models
    • Continuous improvement of deliverables that improve sales efficiency
    • Represent the voice of the customer in Anza platform roadmap discussions
    • Collaborate with Anza tech in the development and maintenance of the Anza engine

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 3-5 years experience with utility and distributed BESS technical sales and design
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
    • Experience and familiarity with commercially available storage technologies
    • Working knowledge of fire codes, electrical standards (UL/IEEE) and NEC
    • Experience with Python or MATLAB
    • Have demonstrated the ability to inspire confidence in customers in a sales and design engineering capacity
