Job Description
A leading specialty financial services company and jewelry retailer is seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Controller with a strong background in technology, analytics and business intelligence. The ideal candidate shall be capable of transforming, modernizing, and evolving the entire company's financial department with the main objective of drastically improving the company's overall performance.
The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of robust internal control policies and procedures specific to the company's risk and industry.
Some of the Controller's key initiatives will include optimizing the company's financial performance to attract investors and drive further growth, streamline and automate financial processes, create efficiencies and cost reductions, and implement new finance related technology for new actionable insights and capabilites.
