Job Summary:
As an Apartment Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents. Your primary responsibility will be to showcase our apartment communities, facilitate the leasing process, and deliver outstanding customer service to all prospective and current residents. You will play a crucial role in meeting leasing goals and contributing to the overall success of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospective Resident Engagement: Greet visitors, conduct property tours, and provide detailed information about available units and community amenities.
- Leasing Process: Assist prospective residents in completing application forms, and ensure that all necessary documents are collected and processed in a timely manner.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about local market conditions, rental rates, and competitor offerings to effectively position and promote our properties.
- Sales Skills: Utilize effective selling techniques to close lease deals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-up communication with prospects, answering questions and addressing concerns to facilitate the leasing process.
- Administrative Duties: Manage leasing paperwork, update the property management software, and maintain accurate records related to leads, prospects, and renewals.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve resident issues and concerns promptly, fostering a positive living environment and community relations.
- Marketing Support: Participate in marketing initiatives, including open houses, social media promotion, and community events to attract potential residents.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet the expectations of residents and management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and residents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (experience with Yardi or MRI is a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
