Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Agent to join our team! The ideal candidate will have apartment leasing experience along with knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit compliance and affordable housing procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist prospective residents professionally
• Conduct apartment tours and promote community amenities
• Process applications, leases, renewals, recertifications, and move-in paperwork
• Verify income, assets, and documentation for Tax Credit compliance
• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with LIHTC/HUD guidelines
• Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Assist with resident retention, occupancy goals, and marketing efforts
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining Fair Housing standards
• Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
• Previous apartment leasing experience required
• Tax Credit/LIHTC experience required
• Knowledge of Yardi, OneSite, ResMan, or other property management software preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service driven
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
