    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented professional to join our team and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning residential community. In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, respond to resident service requests, and support the overall appearance and operational reliability of the property.

    Responsibilities

    • Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks for apartment units, common areas, and building systems.
    • Respond to resident work orders in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
    • Perform troubleshooting and repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general property upkeep.
    • Assist with apartment turnovers, including inspections, repairs, painting, cleaning coordination, and readiness for new residents.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance to help reduce future repair needs and maintain safe operation of equipment and facilities.
    • Inspect the property regularly to identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support grounds and exterior maintenance as needed, including debris removal and ensuring common areas remain presentable.
    • Document completed work, parts used, and outstanding maintenance needs accurately.
    • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable building codes and regulations.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, teammates, supervisors, and vendors to coordinate service and resolve issues.

    Qualifications

    • Previous maintenance, repair, or facilities experience preferred, ideally in residential, multifamily, or hospitality environments.
    • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry tasks.
    • Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs with attention to quality and safety.
    • Strong customer service skills and a professional, respectful approach when working with residents and coworkers.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
    • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
    • Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on property needs.
    • Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance programs.
    • Familiarity with work order systems or maintenance tracking software.
    • Certification or training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trade areas.
    • Experience working in occupied residential properties with a focus on resident satisfaction.
