    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Month-end: Manage month-end close including preparing accruals & journal entries, managing Accounts Receivable and Cashbook, reviewing team journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy, and preparing financial statements for final review.
    • Submission of Controller-approved financials to Corporate monthly.
    • Analyze and report departmental budget vs actual.
    • Manage financial aspects of the Inventory Cycle count program in accordance with the ITW policy.
    • Assist in annual physical inventory counts and annual cost roll.
    • Assist in year-end corporate reporting.
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to a team of three direct reports.
    • Participate in cross functional business partnering to drive business efficiencies.
    • Assist in special projects, reporting, and analysis as needed.
    • Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or equivalent is required.
    • 3 -7 years of Accounting experience including inventory experience.
    • Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to analyze variances, budget to actuals, trends, Days Outstanding, etc.
    • Proficient-Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Sum If, etc.)
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines and excel in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable.
    • Former people management experience and/or ability to display strong leadership attributes.
    • Highly proficient in Excel
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
