    REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER-“GREEN” WATER TREATMENT

    Lead the market expansion of highly automated chemical-free “green” water management solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial water applications throughout Texas and other locations. As a REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, you will build your own team and help customers achieve their goals of saving money while also improving their environmental stewardship by implementing automated cooling water systems that reduce water consumption, energy, and chemical usage. Candidates must have prior experience with industrial and commercial HVAC systems, chillers, cooling water, cooling towers, heat exchangers, condensers, high/low pressure boilers, water treatment equipment, and water chemistry.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: 

    • Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout a defined sales territory.

    • Develop and execute long-range and short-range business plans that build a robust sales pipeline.

    • Create detailed prospecting strategies for the defined sales territory.

    • Perform monthly water treatment services at client sites including wet chemistry testing, calibration, and maintenance on water treatment equipment.

    • Record all prospecting and account management activities in a central CRM database.

    • Develop commercial proposals based upon customers’ requirements.

    • Work from a home office and travel throughout the territory to drive new growth.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

    • B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other Technical degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of success selling and troubleshooting commercial/industrial water treatment solutions, water softeners/ion exchange, filtration systems, chemical feeders, and/or specialty chemicals.
    • Existing relationships with Industrial and Commercial accounts such as Beverage Manufacturing Plants, Food Processing Facilities, Hospitals, Corporate Office Developments, Hotels, and/or Universities is preferred.
    • Familiarity with testing and interpretation of water chemistry, such as pH, total hardness, conductivity, alkalinity, sodium nitrite, sodium sulfite, molybdate, ammonia, phosphate, aerobic bacteria, cycles of concentration, etc.
    • Expertise or exposure to HVAC systems, cooling towers, condensers, chillers, heat exchangers, high/low pressure, specialty chemicals, filtration systems, ultra-filtration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI) is essential.
    • Entrepreneurial drive with the ability and desire to build your own sales/service team.
    • Clear track record of high sales achievements.
    • Experience using a CRM database such as Salesforce or similar system.
    • Must be interested in sustainability, doing what’s right for the environment, and helping promote water conservation.
    • Maintains a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
    • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the territory to drive new growth.
