    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Perform physical and analytical testing of raw material, in-process & finished products and stability samples

    Record data, analyze results, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records

    Use and maintenance of laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP, UV-VIS, FTIR, Titrations, etc.

    Participate in developing and validating analytical methods

    Create raw material, bulk and finished product specifications

    Investigate and troubleshoot analytical issues

    Assist in maintaining the laboratory in compliance with GMP, GLP and GDP

    Participate in project related meetings

    Coordinate analytical methods transfer from contract laboratories as appropriate

    Interact with other departments and outside testing laboratories to ensure proper analytical testing

    Write technical documents including but not limited to lab equipment operation and calibration, test methods, validation protocols, transfer protocols and reports

    Periodically review SOP for compliance with GMP/GLP/GDP and revise if necessary

    Write and execute laboratory equipment qualification protocols and set up Qualification program for new instruments with some guidance

    Perform calibration and maintenance on existing equipment

    Review notebooks and raw data for GMP/GLP/GDP compliance

    Assist in reviewing technical documents for content and conformance to USP such as Technical Documents, Vendor Qualification Documents, Raw Material Specification and Certificate of Analysis

    Perform other assignments as directed by QC lab team lead/supervisor

    Flexible Shift working as business needs

    Requirements:

    Bachelor in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical sciences with 3 years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience

    Experience with GMP and GLP, US FDA and Health Canada regulations
