We are currently searching for an energetic, motivated Label Cage Operator to join our Team!

    POSITION SCOPE:

    This role provides oversight to the label cage and the distribution and collection of all labels, ensuring the labels are recorded, maintained and stored appropriately, bringing the necessary labels to the production lines for use.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

    Must have ride-on order picker forklift experience and safety certified

    Must be work-at-heights safety certified

    Counting and stocking all incoming new labels and entering data into the ERP system.

    Restocking and counting all labels returned from the production lines.

    Adjusting job orders in the system as required by Finance.

    Physically supply labels to all production lines when needed.

    Supply labels to co-packers, Sales and Product Development department and other departments as requested.

    Cycle count all labels on a regular basis to ensure inventory accuracy.

    Organize racking and maintain space for incoming labels

    Adjust inventory as per FIFO (first in/first out).

    Adhere to all health and safety requirements as required by the facility.

    May perform or assist with duties of Line Feeder as required to cover absences and vacations.

    Ensure all transactions in the ERP system are accurate and timely.

    Must be reliable with attention to detail in completing tasks with a sense of urgency

    Order picking with data entry and scanning experience

    Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Must consistently follow instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and accurately complete forms and other paperwork in compliance with requirements

    Must be able to work afternoon shift, normally 6 days Monday to Saturday, and work extra hours as required

    Perform other duties as assigned

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

    KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ experience operating Cherry Picker with valid license and good safety record required; high school diploma or equivalency required; Ability to lift between 5 lbs and above repeatedly

    INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/CONTACTS: some access to confidential or sensitive information; limited internal interactions and limited to no external interactions; purpose of internal/external contacts is not related to complex matters; no selling, negotiating, consulting, teaching, instructing, or advising; reporting of information as required. Higher level of written and verbal communication skills required for successful job performance
