Coordination and supervision of the day-to-day operations of a small medical clinic for both front reception and back office medical assistants.
Supervision of patient appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, data entry, patient payment collections, referrals and authorizations, etc.
Management and knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory State, Federal, and local regulations related to medical clinics.
Knowledge of inventory control; maintaining medical supplies, equipment and other inventory, supplier contract negotiations,
Development, implementation and mgmt. of medical clinic Policies and Procedures.
Knowledge, and experience training and coordinating programs such as EMR Audits P4P, Wellness Physicals, CCM etc.,
Knowledge and experience with all aspects of medical service billing and collections, health insurances, federal and state health programs, IPAs, HMOs and PPOs
HR Labor Law knowledge pertaining to the State of California experience in hiring, training, and terminations, employee performance supervision and reviews.
Skills in using Health Care software and computer systems, EPIC exp a plus
The idle candidate should possess excellent strong customer service skills. Must be a multi-tasker with a minimum experience of 5 years in supervising a private medical clinic preferably in a primary care setting. A positive team leader and administrator.BS Medical Business Administration a plus
