    SUMMARY:

    Provides support in the administration of company policies, procedures and programs, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development and employment. Other duties may be assigned.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Staffing logistics including employment processing;

    • Employee orientation, training and development;

    • Compensation and benefits administration, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health, employee relations and retention;

    • Records management, protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential;

    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends;

    • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting;

    • Policy development and documentation;

    • Coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff;

    • Collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action, and

    • Assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

    • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions;

    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations;

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common health plans requirement documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information before groups of customers or employees of organizations.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to apply basic mathematical operations, add & subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
