    Summary
    Our client is a growing software-as-a-service (SAAS) company in the healthcare industry looking for a Software/DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Team!
    In this highly visible role, you will be an integral member of the development team building top notch software. You will be responsible for leveraging innovative technologies and best practices to streamline software development processes, enhance system reliability, and drive continuous improvement in deployment automation and infrastructure management.We are a people-obsessed company on a mission to end needless suffering caused by medication delays through innovative software solutions that connect every member of the patient's care team.

    Ideal Candidate
    The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills while demonstrating a collaborative mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in delivering reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Serve as an engineering member on our development (scrum) team.
    • Actively participate in refinement and technical meetings.
    • Participate in code reviews and coach team members in following our coding standards.
    • Develop and track reporting metrics such as DORA metrics
    • Ownership of deployment and engineer onboarding process.
    • Coach team members in following our coding standards as it relates to CI/CD
    • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps.
    • Openness to feedback and a growth mindset to continuously improve skills and processes.

    Skill Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Software Developer/DevOps role
    • Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and AWS codePipeline highly preferred.
    • Proficient architecting scalable applications using AWS services.
    • Proficient with Git.
    • Proficient using Composer and NPM for package management.
    • Proficient with Jenkins and other automated software tools.
    • Experience in building and using API's and Web Services.
    • Experience with Apache and Nginx.
    • Linux/Unix scripting and generally proficient with Linux
    • Experience working in an agile environment.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communications

    Other Requirements

    • Ability to work 100% remote
    • Ability to travel for internal company retreats (twice annually)
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
