Appiphony, (www.appiphony.com) is a design and development firm that builds applications for the Salesforce AppExchange and is funded by Salesforce Ventures. Our company is looking for a passionate and curious junior content writer to join our team of 40 people. As a writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for our growing suite of AppExchange Apps (https://appiphony.com/drive-connect/), including blog posts, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, webinar decks, and onboarding content. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, preferably in English, journalism, or a related field, and have a keen interest in writing and technology. **

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our current content writer and marketing team to learn the ropes and get mentored on the best practices for writing great content.
- Participate in training on Salesforce, the platform on which our product is based, and become familiar with the ecosystem and the role our products play in it.
- Research and write high-quality content for our blog (https://appiphony.com/blog) and other marketing activities.
- Collaborate with our designer to create engaging visuals for the content
- Learn the basics of SEO and apply this knowledge to the content you write
- Report SEO results weekly back to the broader product team
- Research and help implement new marketing tools and lead generation methods
- Participate in daily huddles and report or demonstrate your progress

Requirements:
- Extreme sense of Ownership
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- The ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- A keen interest in technology and a curiosity to learn
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing is plus but not required
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Live in or the surrounding Chicagoland area so you can attend occasional company onsites
