    OVERVIEW OF INSIDE SALES ROLE

    Hi, we are Appiphony (www.appiphony.com), a Salesforce application development firm located in Chicago's West Loop funded by Salesforce Ventures. We help top Silicon Valley companies like Slack, Stripe & Docusign design and build applications for the Salesforce AppExchange. We are a fast paced rapidly growing organization looking for a talented sale person to work directly with our executive team.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We are seeking a high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our team to help us grow sales and deepen our relationship with Salesforce.com

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

    • Work directly with the CEO on Sales related activities.
    • Build relationships with Salesforce.com Business Development Representatives and Partner Account Managers
    • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads
    • Prospect new accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
    • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
    • Present first call and proposal decks to prospective clients
    • Track and drive pipeline
    • Work with a Solution Architect to scope potential projects
    • Create presentations, proposals and SOWs
    • Occasionally travel to Salesforce HQ & related events

    YOU MAY BE A FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A

    • Inside sales for a technology consulting firm
    • Sales role at a startup, software company or web agency
    • Have experience with Salesforce.com (not necessary but a plus)

    DESIRED SKILLS & BACKGROUND

    • Strong communication and customer service experience
    • Task management experience
    • Excited to learning about technology and software
    • Enjoy collaborating with a team
    • Comfortable speaking with executives
    • Enjoy account planning
    • Ability to quickly learn new things and be open minded
    • Show strong ownership and leadership
