Job Summary Join Callahan's Appliance as an Appliance Repair Technician at our locations in Prosper, TX, or Fort Worth, TX. This role is central to our mission, involving high-quality repair of appliances. As a vital team member, you’ll also help expand our clientele by recognizing and acting on additional service opportunities. Reflecting our core values, you are expected to demonstrate utmost professionalism and courtesy to all customers and colleagues.

• Company Vehicle: Use of a company car with expenses for gas and maintenance covered. Note: Maintenance scheduling is the technician's responsibility.
• Compensation: Competitive commission pay dependent on experience. Payment is weekly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances in customers' homes.
• Provide clear cost estimates, collect payments, and process transactions on-site.
• Update job statuses and client information diligently via our system—strong note-taking is essential.
• Cross-train in related positions and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient in using tablet-based technology and required company apps.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to engage positively with customers.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and crouch as necessary.
