About us:

Expert appliance is a locally owned appliance sales and service company with our storefront located in Marlboro, New Jersey. We are currently looking for an experienced Appliance Technician to join our growing team on a full time basis.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Technician with 2+ years of hands-on field experience to handle in-home service calls throughout Monmouth County. This is a commission-based role paying 45% of all completed service work, with strong earning potential and clear room for growth as you build your customer base and take on more complex jobs.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and service major household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, etc.) in customers’ homes

Provide professional, friendly service and communicate clearly with customers

Complete all paperwork and service reports accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain a clean, organized van and tools

Occasionally assist with store deliveries or installations as needed

Represent Expert Appliance Center with honesty and integrity at all times

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional appliance repair experience (field service preferred)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Own set of hand tools and basic appliance repair equipment

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Strong customer-service skills and professional appearance

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various home environments

Reliable transportation and smartphone for dispatching

Compensation & Benefits

45% commission on all completed service calls (high-volume opportunity)
