Job Description

REMOTE ROLE TO START AND ONCE ENVIRONMENT CHANGES, THE CANDIDATE WILL BE LOCATED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO OFFICE.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience in software or SaaS industry

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition
• Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented
• Perform UAT for systems implementations, as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT
• Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls
• Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 985-606

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA certification or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with SAP S/4 Hana, RevPro and/or Business Objects
• Involvement in process improvement
