    We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our project team. This role's scope of work includes functional software enhancements, technical debt clean-up, bug fixing, estimation, analysis, and validation. The developer will work closely with technical leads, QA testers, business analysts, business partners, product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion and acceptance of developed solutions.

    This is a 7-month project. Hybrid role

    Job Responsibilities:

    Develop functional software enhancements, fix bugs, and address technical debt to improve system performance and maintainability.

    Collaborate with the project team to ensure user stories, bugs, and work order tickets are evaluated for completeness. Develop software solutions that meet business objectives and address the intent of the problem.

    Elicit and analyze customer requirements, ensuring comprehensive documentation and verification.

    Create and execute unit tests to ensure functionality aligns with business needs. Validate the solutions before moving them to QA and production environments.

    Prepare and document delivery instructions for the movement of software from the development environment to QA and production.

    Work within a Scrum-based Agile delivery model, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality solutions.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Proficiency in XML, JavaScript, Classic ASP, .NET 8, VB.NET, VB6, and C#.

    Strong experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps, Git, and Visual Studio.

    Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and best coding, testing, and deployment practices.

    Experience in creating and executing unit tests to validate software functionality.

    Ability to analyze business requirements, break down complex tasks, and develop appropriate solutions.

    Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including QA, business analysts, and technical leads to ensure high-quality software delivery.
