We are seeking an Application Engineer specializing in Deployment and Integration to join our client, Galaxea’s U.S. Technical Operations team. This hands-on and customer-facing role will be critical to the deployment, commissioning, and validation of Galaxea’s robotics systems across partner and pilot sites.
You will represent Galaxea on-site — ensuring seamless integration of robots into production workflows, resolving hardware/software issues, and providing direct feedback to R&D. This role requires up to 75% travel to client sites and partner facilities.
Responsibilities
Lead deployment, commissioning, and field integration of Galaxea’s robotic platforms at customer and SI partner sites.
Develop and execute testing and validation plans to ensure system reliability and performance in diverse environments.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software issues on-site.
Manage data collection, performance analysis, and debugging. Provide actionable feedback to internal teams.
Serve as on-site technical representative, coordinating between Galaxea’s R&D and customer stakeholders.
Support product transition from prototype to pilot and full commercial rollout, including SOP documentation.
Plan and manage deployment logistics, including equipment transport, spare parts, and technician scheduling.
Deliver a positive customer experience through effective communication, reliability, and professionalism.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or industrial integration and deployment.
Proven ability to work hands-on with complex electro-mechanical systems.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across hardware and software interfaces.
Excellent judgment and composure in high-pressure, field-based environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Linux, Python, or similar scripting languages for automation and testing.
Background in software validation, system testing, or hardware-in-the-loop integration.
Familiarity with robot control systems, sensor calibration, or actuator tuning.
Experience in customer-facing field engineering or deployment operations.
Mandarin proficiency is a plus (for collaboration with R&D teams in China).
