POSITION SUMMARY
The Application Engineer applies market application knowledge in working directly with customers to develop Swagelok products and system solutions to their application needs. The Application Engineer independently evaluates, selects, and applies appropriate engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.

3 years of industry experience with fluid controls in one or more focused market/application segments.
Proficiency using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build personal and team-based relationships with all levels of associates
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interpret customer applications and technical specifications
Ability to solve complex problems and complete multiple projects
Perform an annual visual acuity assessment to determine certification status
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
Use of mechanical tools to build assemblies
Sitting/standing for extended periods
Operation of keyboard/office equipment for extended periods
Standard warehouse and shop environment including associated tools and safe working practices
