Application Security Engineer

Our client has been making waves in the Real Estate industry and they're looking to add an Application Security Engineer to their growing team. This would be a hands-on role where you'll be developing and creating tools and systems to enhance the security of their platform.

Location: 100% Remote!

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, integrated security solutions that fit seamlessly into developer workflows.
• Drive security reviews for new features and major launches, including threat modeling, design, and code analysis.
• Partner with teams to manage vulnerability remediation and provide expertise during security incidents and postmortems.
• Manage third-party security programs and coordinate vulnerability resolution with external researchers.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats to continually advance the company's application security posture.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Application Security experience
• Experience with at least 1 major programming language (Go, Python, Java, etc.)
• Expert knowledge and understanding of best practices for software security, threat modeling, and typical vulnerabilities
