    CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are looking for a highly motivated Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will assist in providing support to end users on a variety of issues.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
    • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
    • Documents, tracks and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution.
    • Performs support to resolve IT hardware, system software, telecommunications, and customer support issues.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Associate’s degree or 2 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
    • Must have at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, MTA Windows Operating System Fundamentals, MTA Security Fundamentals, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
    • Experience with ticketing systems for tracking customer issues (e.g., OneView (Salesforce platform), ServiceNow, Jira).
    • Familiar with the technical aspects of maintaining COTS and custom-built IT systems.
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Apache, MariaDB.
    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology Service Management.
    • Experience relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • Experience performing a variety of complicated tasks.
