Application Technical Specialist I Compensation
- The pay for this position is $17.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Application Technical Specialist I Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts that may fluctuate to accommodate day/night projects and different time zones
- Paid training is provided onsite in the office for 5 days a week, with shift times between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Application Technical Specialist I Responsibilities
- Take and make calls for multiple technology rollout projects in a call center setting
- Provide first-level technical support to field technicians, vendors, and contractors installing or upgrading IT hardware in stores
- Receive inbound calls through a queue; make outbound calls as required
- Update tracking applications and perform system validations
- Communicate via email and use Excel for project updates
- Support multiple technical rollout projects simultaneously, adjusting shift times based on project needs and time zones
Application Technical Specialist I Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clear, accurate, and tactful communication (verbal and written)
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
- IT hardware installation experience is preferred but not required
