If you have a strong engineering background, CAD experience, and enjoy seeing projects move from concept through production, this could be a great opportunity!

    Immediate opening for an Applications Engineer in Rockledge, FL. who possesses:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
    • Experience in manufacturing, applications engineering, or design engineering.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and CAD models.
    • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
    • Understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes preferred.
    • Experience working with an ERP system.
    • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with technical data.
    • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a high-mix, high-variety production environment.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Develop concepts, layouts, and preliminary designs for custom aluminum case solutions.
    • Review customer requirements and develop practical, manufacturable product solutions.
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates and accurate quotes for custom products.
    • Support quoting, estimating, and concept-costing activities.
    • Interpret and analyze blueprints, CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications.
    • Work closely with engineering, production, and estimating teams to ensure product manufacturability.
    • Utilize ERP systems to support quoting and estimating processes.
    • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through production.
    • Communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
    • Present technical concepts and product solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal engineering, production, and estimating teams.
    • Help ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into effective, manufacturable designs.
