Applied Imagination is a web consulting, design, and development firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. We solve complex problems, translate ideas into simple solutions, and make life better. Who you are:

Our team is looking for an awesome Art Director who is experienced in interactive and digital design.  Although the majority of the projects will be web or mobile, we also assist clients with holistic branding and other marketing-driven projects. 

Our ideal candidate:

• Lives and breathes design during work and personal time
• Is a great communicator
• Loves working with clients and a team
• Is able to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Has a meticulous eye for design quality

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience in design, especially web, digital, UI/UX
• A portfolio that reflects clean, intuitive, and functional design
• Experience with wireframes, mockups, prototyping tools, and comps
• Able to manage projects and meet deadlines for multiple clients and projects
• Flexibility and ability to design for a variety of industries
• Passionate about design and the user experience
• Enjoys collaborating, brainstorming, and mentoring a team
• Preferably has agency experience

Technical requirements:

• Mastery of Adobe CS, especially Photoshop and Illustrator

• An understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus, but not required.
