    UI/UX MOBILE AND WEB DESIGNER  

     

    Our UI/UX Mobile and Web Designer will manage the user experience and user interface design of our mobile and web applications.  You are comfortable prototyping and partnering with our team of developers and designers to build Apps and websites, from concept to asset delivery. 

     

    You will be working, designing and supporting a variety of applications focusing on high touch, high visibility, high performance, highly scalable applications for different industries. 

     

     Mobile and Web Designer requires creativity, flexibility, and high speed as our team moves fast on a variety of projects and technologies.  

     

    We strive to design and develop websites and applications that are beautiful, meet functional requirements of clients and internal projects, and that make it as easy as possible, for our clients/users to utilize the full extent of technology we create at Applied Imagination. 

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO AS OUR UI/UX MOBILE AND WEB DESIGNER 

     

    Our Ideal candidate has extensive experience in all areas of the UI/UX design process and will be responsible for: Visual design, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, creating style guides, pixel-perfect mockups, user research, persona definition.  

     

    Partnering with other designers, developers, project support staff, and management team to deliver user-focused content that contributes to the quality and quantity of our and our clients' number of active users. 

     

    Design app icons, wireframes and designs, animations, presentation decks (1st Draft), create web assets, and style guides. 

     

    Rapid prototyping new wireframes, storyboards, sitemap designs through A/B testing 

     

    Accurately estimate and communicate design scope to managers and often meeting with clients. 

     

    You will need to have exposure and clear understanding of platforms such as Android, iOS, Connected Devices and Voice Interfaces. 

     

    Creating and maintaining presentation materials. 

     

    Designing mobile applications and responsive design 

     

    Successfully generate assets for use by developers. 

     

    Be able to collaborate on strategy ideas, user testing and user experience.

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Must have a 3 to 7 years' experience in UI/UX design for mobile, web and native.

    • Possess clear understanding of best practices for interface strategies, online user experience, user interface design and site usability. • Must be UpToDate and always learning about the latest technical standards and best practices in interactive design and development. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to function well in a self-directed, team-oriented environment. • Ability to approach mobile strategy from different angles to solve client problems. • High competence in mobile technology and standards, layout, typography and new creative arenas as they emerge. • Demonstrate competence with design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch. • Understand the technical possibilities and limitations of app design and development as far as UX and UI goes. • Good understanding of platform constraints as they affect mobile design. • Must have experience using Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Candidates must have a strong portfolio which demonstrates the elements above.

    PREFERABLE

    • Understanding of programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript • Graphic design experience

    EDUCATION

    Bachelor's degree, a plus if the degree is Human-Computer Interaction, will consider candidates with a degree in a design related field, or equivalent experience. Preferably 5+ years' experience.
