Job Title: Recruitment Coordinator & Administrative Intern
Reports to: HR Supervisor
FLSA Status: Part-Time (Non-Exempt)
Department: G&A
Position Objective:
Support recruiting and other HR functions. Coordinate related activities with company management, HR consultants, and current and potential company employees.
Essential Functions:
Support and coordinate recruitment processes
Attend various career fairs and events at local universities and colleges to attract potential applicants and promote AO
Assist in writing and development of HR policies, procedures, forms, memos, templates, and letters
Coordinate and document employee hire, on-boarding, transition, and termination processes
Organize, update, and maintain various HR records according to company policies and legal requirements
Assist with ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws
Enhance employee relations, communications, and engagements
Plan, support and coordinate office administration projects and activities to meet company goals
Assist with maintaining an organized, productive and healthy work environment
Ensure accuracy and follow documentation procedures for all work; maintain notebook of daily activities and provide weekly report of work
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a program related to the field of human resources, management, marketing, or psychology with a superior academic record
Attention to detail and effective time and schedule management skills
Effective organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt within a small team to support HR and admin functions
Ability to travel to various universities and colleges for career fairs and other HR events
Ability to attend meeting in evening once each week
Ability to execute instructions and communication in written, oral, and diagram form
Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce routine reports and correspondence and speak before a group
Demonstrated strong writing, fact-gathering, and analytical skills
Interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
High level of integrity and confidentiality; strong sense of equality
Basic computer and software skills including but not necessarily limited to Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, Word, and Power Point); advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
College sophomore or junior with cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.5 or higher
Citizenship/Security Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
