    About the Role:

    Applied Value Technologies is seeking an IT Portfolio Analyst to support ongoing project prioritization and continuous improvement for the Project Management Office (PMO). Reporting to the Portfolio Manager within the Capability Planning and Realization group, this position will work closely with scrum teams and cross-functional program teams to provide continuous strategic alignment and visibility into how well the portfolio is progressing toward meeting its objectives.


    About you:

    We are looking for someone to:

    • Help define and implement portfolio management (IT Project Governance) policies and processes to support fact-based decisions in prioritizing Information Technology projects
    • Continuously improve the portfolio management by integrating optimal ways of planning and organizing, acquiring, and implementing, delivering and supporting, and monitoring IT (solutions) performance
    • Implement best practices, methods and project management tools and methodologies
    • Facilitate request intake process
    • Build trusted and effective relationships working with project managers, collaborate with them to improve PMO standards resulting in efficient portfolio reporting
    • Track program and projects through portfolio planning, execution, and value realization in portfolio Kanban board
    • Track project planning and performance data across the portfolio in terms of quality and completeness; partner with PMs to address issues
    • Develop different reports and dashboards around various portfolio performance metrics, status, schedule, and risks
    • Maintain and publish 12-month rolling roadmap view
    • Prepare and publish portfolio projects status report

    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to handle ambiguity and can be flexible in approach

    Some stuff you need:

    • 1-2 years of IT projects portfolio experience
    • 2-3 years of Project Coordination & Management experience in agile/scrum and hybrid methodologies
    • Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
    • 1-3 years of tools experience – Project / Portfolio Management Tools (e.g. Asana, Jira), dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau), Advanced Excel & PPT, Google Docs
    • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Certification in project or program management (preferred)
