    We are seeking an Associate Product Specialist to assist in developing and maintaining a vision for the product and be responsible for communicating the vision to the team. The primary responsibility of this role is to author user stories with acceptance criteria that deliver an outstanding user experience. The ideal candidate understands both the engineering and business side of the product and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

    The Associate Product Specialist will coordinate with our clients, project engineers, quality assurance teams, development teams, and project managers to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met. This role is responsible for the user facing design, usability, quality and delivery of a product or feature.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Gather and collect customer requirements.
    • Organize customer requirements by priority (commonly known as epics) in the designated tool.
    • Write user stories with acceptance criteria that provides crucial details about the product’s functionality to meet customer requirements.
    • An in-depth understanding of the customer requirements to become the advocate for the customer as well as end-users.
    • Coordinate with the UX/UI team to help facilitate design efforts to meet customer expectations.
    • Communicate customer requirements to all team members.
    • Organize, facilitate, and lead standard meetings within the agile process (sprint planning, backlogs/estimations, grooming, retrospectives).
    • Build and maintain customer relationships.

    Job Requirements and Qualification

    • Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and collaborate.
    • Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
    • Strong writing and organizational skills.
    • Displays a technical aptitude, critical/logical thinking, and leadership skills.
    • Experience working with customers/clients.
    • Experience working within a team environment.

    Nice-to-haves:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Psychology, Design, or a related field.
    • 1+ years of experience working in the industry.
    • Applicable management experience.
    • A basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
    • A basic understanding of the Agile methodology.
