What You’ll Do
As an Appointment Setter, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for prospective clients who have shown interest in our services—whether through downloading a guide, taking our retirement quiz, or attending one of our events. Your goal? Start the conversation, understand their needs, and book a time for them to speak with one of our licensed advisors.
Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to warm leads (no cold calling)
Respond to inbound inquiries from campaigns, events, and online ads
Qualify leads based on simple criteria
Schedule phone or in-person appointments using our CRM system
Follow up on no-shows and reschedule as needed
Keep accurate records of interactions and lead status
Collaborate with marketing and advisory teams to improve conversion rates
What We’re Looking For
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
A friendly, professional phone presence
Comfortable handling objections and staying positive
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Computer/CRM skills
Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or appointment setting is a plus—but not required
