About the Role:

Join Hillman Family Automotive as an Apprentice Automotive Technician and kickstart your career in the automotive industry! This exciting opportunity allows you to learn from experienced professionals while working on a variety of vehicles in a supportive environment. This is an opportunity to grow into a lifetime career with little to no college education.

Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles under the guidance of senior technicians.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Learn how to Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle services.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on vehicles.

Document all work performed and assist in inventory management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; automotive coursework is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive technology.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.

Basic tool set preferred; additional tools provided by the company.

Previous experience in an automotive setting is a plus but not required.

Strong problem solving skills.
