    Aptive is seeking a Junior Management and Program Analyst with 3 years of demonstrated experience as a program analyst.

    The ideal candidate should have knowledge and understanding of Veterans assistance programs and how they support transitioning veterans, military spouses, and their families. They should have worked within and/or understand the Department of Defense and Cabinet level Federal Agencies, in particular the Department of Veterans Affairs. The candidate should have knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and tracking programs and governmental policies in support of overall programs. This candidate should possess knowledge and understanding of gathering data, producing reports, producing manuals, documents, and procedures in relation to training programs.

    This junior-level, full-time position is in the VA Washington, DC location at 1800 G Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006.

    This is a contingent hire position.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • 3 years of Program Analyst experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
    • PMBOK guide knowledge of best practices.
    • Experience supporting large Cabinet-level federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs.
    • Ability to work onsite at the client location in Washington, DC.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

    JOB DUTIES.

    • Perform administrative and programmatic support for Executive Management and other assigned staff.
    • Gathers, tracks, analyzes, documents, and produces reports associated with project requirements.
    • Assists in preparation of task order packages and proposal requests.
    • Assists in providing technical and administrative support of active task orders.
    • Communicates on program status and fulfills reporting requirements.
    • Assists in tracking all taskings associated with contract deliverables.
    • Compiles data and information for weekly reports on the status of assigned, completed, and delayed tasks.
    • Assists in identifying risks to the PM and COR regarding all aspects of the contract and deliverables.
    • Gathers data and conducts analysis on performance evaluations and assessments of training and recommends actions to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies within the training contract.
    • Organizes meetings with stakeholder and documents information to ensure requirements are met.
    • Collects and analyzes inputs from internal and external stakeholders; assists in the development of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and reviews.
    • Develop briefings, detailed agendas, and meeting minutes.

    • Possess excellent critical thinking, leadership, analysis, and data gathering skills.
    • Knowledge of military and Veteran populations.
