  • Responsibilities

    Aptive is seeking a Business Analyst who is comfortable working in an Agile/DevOps work environment to support a project that directly impacts the lives of Veterans and their families. The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and communicate business requirements across clients, external partners, and internal team members. The Business Analyst will use ALM tools (e.g., Agile Accelerator) to manage and priorities requirements in the form of User Stories as well as production defects and/or enhancements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 4 years of experience • Capable of quickly learning how to use new software products • Adept with office productivity tools • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs • Ability to multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment • Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong organization and prioritization skills • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance JOB DUTIES. • Requirements analysis, documentation and communication • Conveying tasks to team members and relaying feedback from development team to clients • Configuring new/emerging software products across non-production and production environments when necessary (e.g., user management, configuring workflows) DESIRED SKILLS. • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Understanding of Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices • Business Process Engineering experience • Experience with training and change management • Experience working with DoD, VA and/or other federal agencies is a plus • 3+ years of experience in consulting, preferably implementing customer relationship management technologies (government client-facing work is a plus) • Experience with CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) ABOUT THE CLIENT.
