    Aptive is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) practitioner with demonstrated experience in Prosci methodology and conducting change management training, ideally within a large federal agency or Cabinet-level organization.

    This role will provide virtual training support to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), using their approved training platforms, assist with poll/chat questions and training exercises, distribute and collect pre-work packages, create breakout rooms during project application exercises, invite training participants to the VHA Community of Practice and assist training instructors throughout numerous training events. 

    This is a key team player who will also assist with engagement activities and program development focused on communicating and sharing information with VHA employees. To be successful in this role, the candidate will also need strong customer interaction skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a large, complex organization. Additionally, the ability to speak effectively to groups in a virtual classroom setting and to work with a multi-functional team in partnership with the Veterans Health Administration will be critical for success.

    Candidates with experience using the ADKAR methodology for change management and/or supporting or leading efforts at VA are strongly encouraged to apply.

    This mid-level, full-time telework position is an immediate hire position.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • 4+ years relevant experience working in a complex team-based environment in a consulting-type organization focused on enterprise transformation initiatives.

    • Highly organized, systematic and proactive in delivering materials and meeting client expectations within a fast-paced environment.

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

    • Proven event planning & logistics experience to lead the organization and execution of virtual trainings.

    • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools, and an understanding of the change process and the “people side” of change.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

    • Experience working with multiple levels of stakeholders to help them identify and prioritize transformation and change management initiatives.

    • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools, and an understanding of the change process and the “people side” of change.

    JOB DUTIES.

    • Lead, plan, manage, execute and close out trainings in support of the client's mission.

    • Capture and distribute event findings, including outcomes, decisions, and action items to inform future sessions.

    • Coordinate with project manager for status report information on a weekly & monthly timeframe.

    • Support the establishment of metrics and measurements to track the performance of the change and transformation recommendations.

    • Develops tailored, collaborative technical assistance (TA) plans; performs training-related administrative tasks; conducts online training and TA; and makes virtual presentations as needed.

    DESIRED SKILLS.

    • Prosci Change Management Certification.

    • Experience with Microsoft Teams and other online platforms conducive to online group learning and engagement.

    • Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio, Project, a plus.

    • Strong knowledge of training and technical assistance delivery best practices including adult learning theory, assessment, analysis, instructional strategies and tactics.

    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. 

    • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others. 

    • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally. 

    • Experience using and managing documentation and materials in SharePoint. 

    • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. 

    • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail. 

    • Ability to interact and engage with Executive-level stakeholders.

    • PMP Certification.
