Aptive is seeking a Business Analyst who is comfortable working in an Agile/DevOps work environment to support a project that directly impacts the lives of Veterans and their families. The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and communicate business requirements across clients, external partners and internal team members. The Business Analyst will use ALM tools (e.g. Jira) to manage and priorities requirements in the form of User Stories as well as production defects and/or enhancements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

• Bachelor's degree
• Capable of quickly learning how to use new software products
• Adept with office productivity tools
• Attentive to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• 1-2 years of experience as a member of an Agile/Scrum team
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

JOB DUTIES.

• Requirements analysis, documentation and communication
• Conveying tasks to team members and relaying feedback from development team to clients
• Configuring new/emerging software products across non-production and production environments when necessary (e.g. user management, configuring workflows)
• Triaging trouble tickets and either completing them or delegating to the appropriate party

DESIRED SKILLS.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe® Agilist (SA), or equivalent
• Experience with a continuous development/delivery environment
• 3+ years of experience in consulting, preferably implementing business automation technologies (Commercial client-facing work is a plus)
• Experience with modern OCR/ICR technologies (working on a claims processing project is a plus)
